Our Practice
We do not sell gemstones. We choose them, one at a time.
Every spinel in our archive begins in Ratnapura — the City of Gems — where our founder spends weeks each year alongside the same family of cutters her grandfather first introduced her to.
Stones are evaluated unset, in northern daylight, and refused far more often than they are accepted. We do not auction; we do not flip. A gem enters the archive only when we believe it has a person waiting for it.
Some collectors find their stone in an afternoon. Some take a year. We are patient on both ends of that conversation.
